Well made, wholly entertaining film that works well as the prequel it is, while being its own movie too. Just lacks that certain spark that sets apart truly great films, and is a little on the long side for the content offered.

Plodding western that fails to go anywhere. With a higher pace it could have been a lot more interesting.

The Avengers

Joss Whedon does pretty well with what has been handed to him, but with an uninteresting villain like Loki, a movie can only go so far.

Enjoyable at times, goes well with cheap wine. Fantastically mangled Norse mythology, which is probably also found in the comic. Liked the casting of Stellan Skarsgård and his completely uninterested performance.

X-Men: First Class

Living up to the first few films in the franchise, X-Men: First Class is an enjoyable and mostly well told super-hero flick. Kevin Bacon is getting pretty old and looks weird in a helmet.
